Our core business philosophy is building long-term relationships with our customers, whether using our full Product Development capability or just a few specialized services. From our customer's perspective, we want to make it far more cost effective for them to build long term effective business relationships rather than continually starting new ones for the same services. From our perspective, it is far less expensive to keep an existing Customer than to find a new one. The Realtime Group (Realtime) strives to communicate regularly to become an extension of customer's own capabilities, and to staff projects with professionals who understand the project goals and business objectives.

In today's business climate, no business can afford to "go it alone". Nor can any service business survive without a total quality approach. There has been a nationwide retreat to focusing on core competencies, and that is exactly what Realtime tries to do. Realtime believes that the basis for repeatable, predictable performance is our Quality System. We maintain and continually improve our Quality System in support of all our services to ensure that our customers' and development partners' expectations are met or exceeded.

The Realtime Group (Realtime) is a collection of business entities and partners whose sole purpose is to materialize ideas for client companies. Real-time Standards Inc. (RSI) is the infrastructure engine that allows projects to come and go without disrupting the capabilities of the Group. It provides the key management, procedures, and policies that are used for all our operations. It provides project estimates, contract administration, and executive management to Customers and Partners alike. For our full Product Development outsourcing, RSI organizes the partners so that one of them is designated to take the lead role in different stages of the development based on several factors.

To promote efficient operations, RSI owns the physical building, network, phone systems, printers, and generic development equipment that are used on each program that are not specific to that product. This allows our Realtime Systems services business to focus on project specific deliverables and developing the Intellectual Property for each product.

RSI provides the following functions to each of the programs as needed:

"Realtime" is the operating part of The Realtime Group that provides the project specific development services and maintains a pool of trained developers and verification personnel. Realtime Systems is a service-oriented, low overhead operation that can be used to supplement any project. It uses the same strong quality system as the more project management-oriented Realtime Standards Inc., however the "Realtime" staff can easily operate autonomously under the direction of any project development process and coordinator. Using this established business entity, work on a project can literally be started the same day as it is conceived.

Our core competencies at the Plano, TX location center around safe designs for electronics and software in regulated industries, and verification/validation of those products.
